...what would you get?
/question borrowed from petrolicious‘
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
.
//you can‘t get a GMC, a Chevy and a Cadillac. Only one brand.
I will go for the realistic, daily life approach and have a late 80s Suburban,
Painted the most disgusting and bright yellow or firetruck red, with a slight lift, a bit bigger wheels with white lettering, and a black brush guard and roof rack and winch and snorkel and stuff, with barndoors and a bunch of stickers on the very rear side windows.
Second, a 1964 Impala vert, maybe on hydraulics, because I am quite the “straight G”, if you don’t mind me saying...
And third, a Chevy Citation notchback. In this exact lovely gold color. Man, this thing looks amazing to me, I love it. Like a baby buick GNX. I love the proportions.
Naturally, I would take all three cars to Jonathan Ward at ICON to make them bulletproof and wonderful.
How about you, guys and gals?

Well if I can’t count Jaguar/Land Rover as one brand I’m not playing!
Torn between BMW and Mercedes. Both have variety to spare but Benz doesn’t do manuals and BMW doesn’t make anything that can go off road. I suppose I’d take a 2005ish SL55 (hate the nose on the new ones) a G63 4x4 and an e63 wagon.

An obvious choice, perhaps, but it would have to be BMW.
E24 (check):
E39 M5 (I currently have a 530i that has a mix of M5 and M-sport equipment, but that’s not the same):
435i xDrive Gran Coupe (not check yet, but give it ten years or so):
Also, maybe I’ve been gone from Oppo for ages, but haven’t seen you in a while. Glad to see you’re still around these parts!

I am not a sensible person and right now I have no real responsibilities in my opinion.
So here we go:
I have a desperate lust for these. Also I am assuming in this scenario money is no object, so I’ll have it in purple.
The 1969 Mustang Mach 1 in Acapulco blue
Fun Fact: This was almost my first car, a lady was trying to rapidly liquidate her dead husbands collection and was offering this for a vastly smaller amount than it was worth. My parents didn’t think it was a wise choice.
F650 Truck preferably brand spanking new.
I don’t care what air they give off I’ve always loved them and always will. If the day ever comes where I can afford to order one along with having sensible rides there will be one in the driveway.

Unlimited budgets, or capped?
Unlimited: A McLaren F1, P1, and 675LT (or perhaps a 570S, just for humility’s sake, relatively speaking).
Under $550K: 2016 Ford F-150 Raptor crew cab, 2016 GT, and a Flex Titanium with the EcoBoost (or perhaps a new Edge, those look pretty sharp and are shorter in length).
Under $250K: Jaguar F-Type, F-Pace (hate the name, like the looks), and an XE. Or a Range Rover SVR, LR4, and Discovery Sport.
Under $125K: ND Miata, Mazda6 Grand Touring, and a CX-9 Grand Touring.
Actual available personal budget: Keep the two Mazdas my wife and I own, add a CX-5 or CX-3, keep the rest for babies and medical bills.
Damn, this is hard. Next time set a price cap, haha.

In my opinion, it’s the best all around vehicle that BMW currently makes. The F31 3-series Touring is excellent, but having used both for film shoots, I actually prefer the 4GC because of how far forward the hatch opening starts. You can put the seats down and pile it full of gear (a lá a 3-series Touring), but when you need to grab something, you can lean in from the back and still have miles of room before the hatch opening ends.
Plus it looks stunning. I really like that car.

No it ain’t. The Shelby Dakota is a dog, even compared to my Dak. That detuned 5.2 is a boat anchor.

Because a 426 or a 440 are much better engines for a ‘68.

But of course. She currently drives an R500 with the 300hp V8 and she loves it and it is perfect for what we need, so surely the AMG version would be better.

It loses a bit of sensibility being the RS model. But I guess it is still fairly sensible.

I love this one. But then again how can one not love the R class or the Grosser?
